What is T2 Mold and Mildew Stain Remover ?

T2 Mold and Mildew Stain Remover incorporates derivatives of natural cleaning agents as a critical part of the formulation design. Many commercial products use harsh caustic solvents which can actually chemically degrade the surface by reacting with lignin in the wood which breaks down the fibrous structure and weakens and erodes the wood surface.
The natural cleaning agents in T2 have been shown in laboratory and field tests to promote the removal of the mold and mildew stain by working synergistically among themselves. These naturally occurring cleaning agents are known for their exceptional ability to clean surfaces and leave them sparkling.
T2 Mold and Mildew Stain Remover also has been specifically formulated to provide outstanding penetration capability on a wide variety of surfaces. The cellular structure of wood and the highly porous internal network found, for example, on stone and cementation materials such as stucco, mortar, and grout have proven very difficult to effectively penetrate with commercial products; yet easily done with T2.

These derivatives of natural cleaning agents in concert with the penetration capability seemingly strip the mold and mildew stain from the internal pore structure and the surface. These two characteristics interface so as not to leave any residue behind or degrade the surface or the structure of the material in the process. All in all, the results are a thoroughly cleaned structure. Or I suppose one could say COMPLETELY clean.

Because of this formulation advance, fogging or spray on applications by a qualified technician are made much simpler than conventional methods of wire brushing or hand/machine sanding. T2 Mold and Mildew Stain Remover begins to work upon contact with the surface and is fast-acting. All of this with no high-pressure application and no scrubbing. T2 does the work; not the user.
For external applications such as decks, cedar shakes, asphalt shingles and log homes, removal after treatment of the surface is equally easy. Simply rinse with the gentle flow of a garden hose. No high-pressure spray or blasting equipment is needed. As a result, there is no degradation of the surface. High-pressure spraying will often physically break down wood fiber, causing a splintering effect, and strip stones from roofing shingles. No negative side effects like these with T2
